Birthday Boys

 

 

 

Matthew turned 2 yesterday,

and Steve is 54 today!

 

 

 

Earlier in the day Matthew got a visit from Grandma and Grandpa!

 

Then, we celebrated last night with pizza, cake, ice cream and gifts!

Christmas Candy Houses

We wanted to share about our "Candy House Day".  We did not do the traditional ginger bread house this year.  Instead we used grahm crackers, the all the kids could make their own. 

Melanie and her kids joined us.  Lots of kids, lots of noise, lots of mess and TONS of fun!

A very Happy Family Christmas

We enjoyed our Christmas!  It was enjoyable from begining to end.
Grandma and Grandpa came over Christmas Eve.  We had a scrumptious dinner and exchanged gifts.  It is always a special time.  We also got to speak with Aunt Kathy, in TX.

 

 

 

 

Christmas morning we fixed a big breakfast of eggs, bacon, monkey bread and orange juice.  A real treat.  After a time of scripture reading we do our gifts.  It is always fun to watch the kids open surprises.  However, Stevthe and I always enjoy even more watching them give the gifts they have picked out for siblings.  With anticipation on their faces as the sibling receives and unwraps their gift.  ALWAYS, ALWAYS delightful!

 

 

 

We are abundantly blessed here with our family.  Even more so with Our Saviors love for us.  We love to celebrate that!
