Church Family Fall Breakfast

A few weeks ago our church family at Immanuel Bible Fellowship had a "Breakfast in the Shannandoah".  We got up and out very early on a georgous fall day.
The church reserved a group camp site at Elizabeth Furnace Campground.  We enjoyed a outdoor breakfast together.  Then we visited into the afternoon and enjoyed one another.

It started off early and cold!  A campfire was quickly made and then we enjoyed coffee, hot chocolate and it pop tarts while we cooked.

Ron and Brenda made omletts, Pastor John made sausage and bacon, the Zimmermans brought fruit, home made cinnamon rolls and gingerbread, and we (Savanna) made pancakes.  YYYUUUMMMYYY!!

Our family enjoyed the day so much.  It was like camping for a day, we even came home smelling like campfire!

Not too far from the campsite there was a very beautiful and peaceful creek to be enjoyed.  The walk there was a bit interesting, we considered it "off roading".  ;)

When we got back to the campsite Brenda pulled out the fixins for smore's!

We were glad to have Mark and his two oldest "L's" arrive.

We are already looking forward to doing this again next year!
